By road from M25
M25 clockwise, take junction 28 for the A12 Colchester Road, head West towards London. At the junction with the A127 (known as Gallows Corner) take the 3rd exit at the roundabout and continue heading towards London on the A12 Eastern Avenue. Continue straight on until the 4th set of traffic lights (known as Moby Dick) and turn left on to the A1112 Whalebone Lane North. At the next set of traffic lights (Tolgate Pub on the right) turn left on to the A118 High Road. St. Edwards school is approximately ½ mile on the right hand side.
M25 anti-clockwise, junction 29 for the A127 Southend Arterial Road, head West towards London. At the junction with the A12 (known as Gallows Corner) take the flyover and continue heading towards London on the A12 Eastern Avenue. Continue straight on until the 4th set of traffic lights (junction known as Moby Dick) and turn left on to the A1112 Whalebone Lane North. At the next set of traffic lights (Tolgate Pub on the right) turn left on to the A118 High Road. St. Edwards school is approximately ½ mile on the right hand side.
By road from Central London
Via A12 head East. Turn right on to the A1112 Whalebone Lane North (junction known as Moby Dick). At the next set of traffic lights (Tolgate Pub on the right) turn left on to the A118 High Road. St. Edwards school is approximately ½ mile on the right hand side.
Via A13 head East. Take the A1306 Ripple Road Dagenham turn-off. Take the left turn onto the A1240 Heathway heading north. Continue on the Heathway all the way to the end. At the traffic lights turn right on to the A124 Wood Lane. Continue through the next set of traffic lights on to the A1112 Whalebone Lane South. Continue through to the second set of traffic lights (Tolgate Pub on the far left) turn right on to the A118 High Road. St. Edwards school is approximately ½ mile on the right hand side.
By Bus
Route 86 (Stratford to Romford) stops right outside St. Edwards school.
Visit the TFL website for route details and select either the Chadwell Heath, Whalebone Lane (Tollgate) or Romford maps.
By Train
St. Edwards school is approximately halfway between Romford and Chadwell Heath rail stations which are served by Greater Anglia services.
